I guess Facebook really does have an "unlike" button. Plaza Casino

I went to the Plaza Casino Facebook page after checking out their room rates. They had anice little piece written about how nice thing were back in 1971 when they opened. Price of stamps, movie tickets and houses were included. I posted to their page that they left out one little thing. There was no such thing as a "Resort Fee" back then either. I also noticed that someone had asked about the "Bite" show. I told her that she would get her "Bite" at the rate of $12.50 per night if she stayed there. Both of my posts were removed when I checked on them today and I can no longer post to their page.

I guess some people cant take a little honest criticism.

No. Not really. I do think it's kind of funny though.

They cant erase your feedback on Yelp. =)

I see this all of the time on Facebook. Vegas Rover, Myvegas Friends, Southpoint Casino, and probably others delete comments they don't like on their pages. I also find the Trip Advisor Forum for Las Vegas often shuts down threads.
I received my "Get Out Of Jail" card. I'm able to pose on the Plaza's Facebook page and they reposted the comment about "Bite" show. I guess either My post about the 1971 prices was totally destroyed or they decided not to put that one back up. I am able to post again on the page so that's a small victory.

Honest criticism isn't allowed on a variety of platforms. Facebook wants to sell those companies ads. They can't do that if people are talking about how much that companies product sucks.

The way to do it is start your own FB page called something like "The Plaza Sucks Eggs."

Yes.

And one should be cautious of all posts Including Yelp, which are subject to posts from competitors. I have friends that are entrepreneurs who say they receive posts on their restaurants that they say are nonsensical. They have no record of history of orders as described. Frustrating for them.

A new company renting cottages opened in my town a few years ago. It quickly shot to the top of the rankings on trip advisor and other "review sites". It opened with 32 units and within 2 months of operations had thousands of positive reviews. Another company in town which has more than 1,000 units and has been open for ten years or more only had a couple of hundred real reviews in those ten years. All of those review sites are gamed. They know they are gamed, but they keep lying because they are out of business if they admit the truth. All it takes is a VPN with an inventory of ip Addresses and you can write an endless number of glowing reviews of your business and endless number of reviews bashing your competitors.

A cruder way to do it is visit multiple public libraries in your area and write a review at each one.

Bottom line your friends in the restaurant business have to play the game too if they want to compete.

The plaza has been going downhill since the Sunspots retired.
