I need restaurant advice

For the past 29 years I've organized a Vegas Labor Day weekend trip with a bunch of friends from all over the country. This year, our group of 16 guys needs a dinner location which maxes out at $75 including tax, tip, and a glass of wine. We're staying at he Mirage, but the restaurant doesn't need to be at the Mirage...........but it does need to be within a 15 minute MAXIMUM walk.

Suggestions are appreciated.
Carmines. Italian served family style. Great place for a group. Each entree serves 2 to 4 people. Order 8-10 entrees and get the wine by the jug.
I've asked one friend who's stayed in the area several times, and then requested advice on LVA. Interestingly, both answers came up Carmine's. I VERY strong leading contender.

Might be at the limit of that 15 minute walk....if you like Italian Food I would give a big thumbs up to Tuscany Gardens at the Tuscany. The food and wine list are every bit as good (better?) than Olives at the Bellagio at about half the price.

teechur and DonDiego had their pre-Wedding reception dinner at Maggiano's Little Italy in the Fashion Show Mall right next to the Mirage. None of the guests complained. And no one got sick, so's everyone could proceed to the Stratosphere Tower for the wedding and enjoy the rides for free !

And the folks there'll set up a private room for Boilerman's party with a dedicated bar if'n one wishes and Boilerman's selection of appetizers, main dishes, desserts, etc. served buffet style or family style.

Yes, it's a chain, . . . but for convenience it can't be beat. And compared to most joints up heh' in Appalachia it's downright swanky. The banquet phone is in the link above if'n Boilerman seeks details like price, etc.
I've tried several of PJ's suggestions in the past, and have always been VERY pleased. Unfortunately after Googling Tuscany, I realize that it is 1.02 miles, which is far too long for our fat asses.

I'll second Double D's vote for Maggianos. While I haven't been to the one in Vegas, I go to the one in Costa Mesa, California at least 5 or 6 times a year.
Maggiano's and Carmines are both great contenders. I want the best joint, and I don't consider the fact that Maggiano's being a chain is a negative. The best food and atmosphere wins in my book (as thin as my book might be). Thanks to DD. While Boiler is familiar with Maggiano's, I didn't realize that this establishment existed within the confines of Las Vegas.
Maggiano's and Carmines are very similar. I find Maggiano's slightly more upscale and Carmine's more home-style. Carmine's is a more celebration of gluttany.
Can anyone tell me if Maggiano's is at the corner of Las Vegas blvd and Spring Mountain, or is it a bit of a walk inside the Fashion Show Mall? You know how it is in Vegas..........10-15 minutes to get from the Mirage room to the street, then 10-15 minutes to walk to the corner of LV blvd and spring mountain, then another 10 minute walk through the mall...............remember, I'm only one of the 16 slackers making the walk.

Best yet, if someone could accurately predict the time to walk from the Mirage Casino to Maggiano's VS the walk from the Mirage Casino to Carmines, that would be great.
