I need restaurant advice

One final suggestion would be Buddy V's at Venetian...
It is just over the bridge connecting TI to Venetian.

I read that on Sundays, they have a buffet.

We have been there twice, first time portions were small...the second time they were much larger. The waiter also mentioned that they had increased portion size, due to complaints.
Well your walk will be minimal and most of it will be indoors where there is air conditioning.
Air conditioning is good, since we will be there in August. Thanks.

I've thought about a buffet, but decided that family style is perfect for our big group of guys.

My wife and I are not huge eaters. We can polish off 1 chicken parm, side order of angel hair, and a carafe of wine. That's about $75 for both of us. We are stuffed after that. The 1.5L bottles of wine are a good deal for a bigger group.
