I phone4

I had the Samsung galaxy ll and smashed it upgraded to the iPhone 4 so much more user friendly. Love it.
For AT&T customers who are willing to be indentured for another two years, they have a pretty good deal - or at least it was for me. If you trade in a working phone they will give you a minimum of $100 toward your new phone, possibly more. Supposedly it was only for phones newer than three years, but they gave paid me for my older iPhone 3GS.

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy III last July for $199 with a 2 year contract with Verizon. I'm allowed out of that contract after one year if I upgrade and go with a new 2 year contract I know the Galaxy IV is out. It has a slightly larger screen and a better camera in it. I don't think I will get out of the contract in the hopes when the two year anniversary arrives, there will be a Samsung Galaxy V. I did extensive work for the Rose Bowl came with uploading pictures with an X-Chip. It worked perfectly.
I had an android for years, and last October after my Vegas trip, upgraded to I phone 5. I love my phone and use it all the time for everything. I get my e-mails on it, use it for talk and text and the web. I love Suri - and my husband cannot believe all she can do. When the ball game is on, I hit the button and she gives me current scores in an instant. Suri also lets me know what time the game is starting, so he never misses a game.

No more looking on the web for a place - just ask Suri to find the place for you and then take you there - automatically launches the GPS and sends you on your way. If you are looking for I Phone 4, I would suggest you get the I phone 4S. Since we were casino hopping in April during our visit to Vegas, she got us to and from new places effortlessly.

I would also suggest you search the Android marketplace vs I tunes for applications. I found more applications that I would use on the I tunes market than I had found on Android. That was a big selling point for me also.

Need a phone that will fit in my front pants pocket. Don't carry to clip on a belt or use a man purse. My Blackbery Bold is a good fit alongside the family jewels.

A smartphone is indispensable for me. Having internet, audio, video, voice typing, gps, camera, etc. on such a small device is awesome. I've had a Motorola Razr Maxx HD for about 6 months and love it. I was hesitant to switch from my qwerty keyboard Blackberry because I do a lot of typing with my business while away from the office. But, voice typing is even faster. Consumer Reports rated the Razr Maxx HD the best smartphone, but I know other sites have rated Iphone or Samsung Galaxy S3 as tops. The Razr Maxx HD battery life has no equal though.

Hey thanks for the info. Been using a Blackberry for a few years and a little hesitant about smarting up. About time to make the jump thanks for the push.

You're welcome! The Razr Maxx HD is only available with Verizon and it was rated by CR as the best phone on their network. The Samsung S4 just came out and I think it is available with all the major carriers.

Btw, I'm also loving my new smart tv. The last tv I bought was in 2009 and I guess they didn't exist then. Downloading movies and tv shows directly to my tv is so convenient. I've actually only downloaded directly from Amazon so far, but I know there are additional options.

I just bought a smart tv for my bedroom and have yet to have it installed. I only have a DSL connection at home. Is that fast enough for the tv or should I look into getting cable internet? I would assume a wireless router can still be used.

Thx all, great feedback/info, appreciate it. I don't think I have a choice of phone, I would prefer a samsung just because I have a ss tablet. I'm still not sure if I really want an Iphone, was playing with my wife's and I truly wondered if I wanted it but more importantly needed it. Think I'll just go to the store and see what all is available to me, as far as I know now, it's only an IP4. THX again.

That's what I have. Do you ever use them together?

No. I got my Tab 10.1 from Verizon and it has its own 4G capabilities without having to be near a wifi spot (or I can use wifi). Hindsight is that I only needed to get the wifi version because I can turn my Samsung III into a portable hotspot.
