If we had a LEADER

Hoops problem is that he doesn't know who is arguing. This isn't between Republicans and Democrats, It's between Republicans and teabaggers.

Teabaggers are happy about the shutdown, they're not taking blame, they're taking credit.

Michele Bachmann: "this is about the happiest I've seen members in a long time."

You want a leader to step up and end this? You expect Obama to fix the fractured Republican party? I have an Idea, how about a Republican steps up and gets those batshit teabagges in line. Ask your man John Boehner to act like a leader instead of coward, afraid of getting "primarried".

Right now only one Party wants an end to the shutdown. The other Party, well some of them like it, fix that mess Republicans, then get back to the President.

Ironic, from someone who habitually goes running to the mods here. To very little effect, right - I haven't changed one iota. I still don't start political threads, I still don't stalk, I still don't use filthy language to insult others, and I never whine to the mods here. Too bad we can't say the same for you.

Now why don't you and your *special* friend go complain to the mods again? We all know your style.

I run to the mods? Try again.

What's the matter Forkie? Did your monthly copy of "The Good Socialist" get swiped from your mailbox?

The fact is you did what you did and your little pouting act is pathetic.

Nah, but I was just reading how they won't allow and up-or-down, majority vote in the House. Doesn't sound like my idea of America.

Not sure what 51 is seeing because I see bills passed by the House to end this and then they die in the Senate. I see Obama saying that he will not negotiate.

The shutdown is not ending for one reason. There are enough teabaggers that want the shutdown to continue, and the rest of the Republican party is afraid of them. If the mainstream Republicans grew a pair, and broke from the teabaggers, the shutdown ends tomorrow. That will take some serious Republican leadership, I don't see it happening.

Stop looking for bad guys, there is a group that has already taken full responsibility for the shutdown, they are laughing and bragging about their accomplishment.

Do you want the shutdown to end? Focus. Call your Republican Congressperson, and tell him / her to end it.
