Kansas Anti-Gay Law Bill

A bill that just passed in the Kansas House of Representatives would allow businesses to refuse business to anyone in a gay marriage, gay civil union, or a "similar arrangement." It gives the full backing of the law to any restaurant or bar-owner who puts up a sign that says “No Gays Served”. It empowers employees of the state government to refuse to interact with gay citizens as a group. Its scope is vast: it allows anyone to refuse to provide “services, accommodations, advantages, facilities, goods, or privileges; counseling, adoption, foster care and other social services; or provide employment or employment benefits” to anyone suspected of being complicit in celebrating or enabling the commitment of any kind of a gay couple. Your thoughts on this if it was to pass???

Kansas Senate Comes To It’s Senses And Nixes Extreme Anti-Gay Legislation
Kansas comes to it's senses and nixes bill
Another example of why a Democrat will be elected to the White House in 2016. We can't let these religious zealots in the White House to invoke their version of religious law.
Discrimination is freedom!
The exact same scenario has played out in bat-$h!t crazy Arizona. The bill has passed the Legislature and now awaits the governor's signature.

You might mention that it Failed in the Kansas Senate and will not become law. If it had become law I would have supported a Kansas Embargo.
Thanks Alan! I just wanted to hear what people thought about it. I updated it
The AZ Statute awaits the Governor's signature. The NFL could put the kibosh on by threatening to pull the Super Bowl, but probably won't.

The bill targets a particular group because of the exercise of a 1st Amendment right, so it would be struck down by the Supremes. It would probably be nullified by the Arizona Court, though, and never get there. All this stuff worked its way through the courts in the 60s and 70s. It's a testament to their IQs that these zombies still try this stupid stuff.
Carol Foyler, a Tea Party Republican who supported the anti-gay law, said that the startling bombshell that gays play a role in the state’s economy put her and her fellow lawmakers “in a tight spot.”

“Quite frankly, we were blindsided by this,” she said. “We had no idea that gays had money and bought things just like regular people do.”

Acknowledging that her vote for the anti-gay law might have been calamitous for the state’s economy, Ms. Foyler placed the blame for it squarely on the shoulders of one group: the gays themselves.

“How was I supposed to know what gay people do with their money, etc., when I don’t personally know any gay people?” she asked. “I’m sorry, but it was up to the gays to tell us.”
Apparently with the present thinking about morals and constitutional freedoms, the religious and constitutional foundations upon which this nation was founded are being ignored. Apparently everyone can do whatever they want, anytime, to anyone without reprisal. As the moral fabric and laws that have been in place are replaced with never ending liberal mores, we, as a nation, can and will reap the harvest of what is being sown. Remember today, for in the future many will ask "What in the hell were we and our "leaders" thinking?
Do you have any proof of these quotes?
