Carol Foyler, a Tea Party Republican who supported the anti-gay law, said that the startling bombshell that gays play a role in the state’s economy put her and her fellow lawmakers “in a tight spot.”

“Quite frankly, we were blindsided by this,” she said. “We had no idea that gays had money and bought things just like regular people do.”

Acknowledging that her vote for the anti-gay law might have been calamitous for the state’s economy, Ms. Foyler placed the blame for it squarely on the shoulders of one group: the gays themselves.

“How was I supposed to know what gay people do with their money, etc., when I don’t personally know any gay people?” she asked. “I’m sorry, but it was up to the gays to tell us.”

No. It is just a fictional satirical story.

Apparently with the present thinking about morals and constitutional freedoms, the religious and constitutional foundations upon which this nation was founded are being ignored. Apparently everyone can do whatever they want, anytime, to anyone without reprisal. As the moral fabric and laws that have been in place are replaced with never ending liberal mores, we, as a nation, can and will reap the harvest of what is being sown. Remember today, for in the future many will ask "What in the hell were we and our "leaders" thinking?

We look back in history at legalized slavery and discrimination and forced segregation and ask "What in the hell were we and our "leaders" thinking?"

This nation was founded upon my ancestors putting musket balls and bayonets through British soldiers.
I'm not a lawyer....but I'm pretty sure if the law were to pass it would be trumped by federal civil rights laws....and any business that openly discriminated against the gay community would be in lots of trouble with a Federal Court Lawsuit.

So I suspect the only people who really need to be aftaid are the Xenophobes that run the state government and the message they are sending to the next generation which is finding them to be increasingly irrelevant.

If gays are to be denied access to businesses, then is collection of their tax dollars to be denied also?

I can't even believe this stuff still takes place.
