KTVU-TV (San Francisco) Gets the Scoop

"During the noon newscast Friday, co-anchor Tori Campbell, announced that “KTVU has just learned the names of the four pilots who were on board” Asiana flight 214 when it crashed at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday.
She then read from a teleprompter while a TV graphic displayed four fake names . . ."

Ho Lee Fuk, that's hilarious

Wi Tu Lo and Sum Ting Wong aren't bad either.

Altho it may be a wee bit too soon (3 people did die in the crash), therein lies a bit of dark humor.

Do these news stations not proof read the copy ? Or double check the names ? Damn bloody rush to be the 1st to get the scoop on a story bites them in the ass for sure.

Is DD sure this is legit ? I find it hard to believe somebody at the station would not have caught that before it hit the air.

Just got done watching the video of the newscast. Unbelievable, that particular news station could have such idiots working there.

The lady anchor pauses for a split second as she is trying to pronounce Ho Lee Fuk, to make sure she pronounces the last name to not sound like "F*ck".

I think at that point, she realized they had been punked. She went ahead and pronounced the 4th name anyways.
