I'd like to have my money (and time) back from watching that movie.

Boring. Even in 3D.

Hour and a half of explosions and Sandra Bullock hyperventilating. Needed more.
A rescue scene would have helped.

But don't go by me. #1 at the box office for 2 weeks, and the nephews loved it.

DonDiego has read some very favorable reviews of the film Gravity. teechur is presently traveling with her daughter; shortly after her return, she and DonDiego will see for themselves.
DonDiego has already come across a website about Gravity, the primary purpose of which is to note errors in the science of physics apparent in the movie. DonDiego likes to do that too, . . . having been a rocket scientist.

If one's last thought is to delete one's browsing history, one may have visited other-than-admirable web-sites, . . . no pertinence to poor old DonDiego at all !

This is the FFA. Yes Vegas related would be best suited for a website such as this is named. However, the FFA is for those that are too cheap or not going to Vegas soon enough to justify the expense of a paid membership, such as myself.

I have been a subscribed member and have gained plenty of information in the past from both the paid and FFA side of these forums. However, since I'm currently unemployed and don't see a trip to Vegas in my future, I do enjoy the interactions on the FFA except for the political debates.

I will say I started one thread that turned political and then a Canadian member was flamed and my thread got deleted. That was not my intention.

If you don't like Don Diego's posts, you can put him on ignore and never see any of his posts again unless someone quotes him in their post.

Changing horses now....a friend of mine who has produced, directed and stared in a couple of Indie films has told me that Gravity is the first film he has seen in 3D where the 3D effects actually contribute to the movie vs. just being a gimmick.

Rosie I think Lion was being sarcastic because another poster has scolded a couple of us for making political posts here.

If Lurkerposter was hear when political post were banned he would know you could hear the crickets back then because it was so dead. As was mentioned by another poster you can only talk about 6/5 BJ so much. Many of us have been going to LV for well over 20 years and quite honestly although we still like to go there we don't need to brush up on the buffets and shows until about a week before our trip.

I thought in the IMAX 3D format, the movie was very entertaining (my wife and I both question how good the movie would be if not in that format). One of THE BEST scenes....Sandra Bullock coming out of the suit in those tight short-shorts. Mouthwatering good!

Because all the people who would normally post about non-political stuff left the board because of the political stuff.

They also are never coming back. So when there are no political posts, they don't even realize it because they don't come here anymore.

I don't know why this is so hard to grasp.
