Last Vegas - The Movie with a Short Review

I snagged a ticket for a pre-release screening of LAST VEGAS for tomorrow night.

If anyone is interested in checking out movies for free prior to their theatrical releases go to GoFobo.com and register. Put in your zip code and pick the movie and see if they have any open screenings.

There are a lot of "enter your RSVP code" screenings. I have yet to figure out how to get one of these codes, but I believe they are passed out by local media outlets prior to the screening.

If you find an RSVP code screening, check back a day or two before the screening as they might become open screenings.

Print out your passes (limit 2 per registered user) and show up AT LEAST a half hour before show time as it's first come first serve.

I have been shut out of one showing when I got caught in traffic.

When I saw a preview of Captain Phillips a week ago (fantastic film BTW) they collected our cell phones and wanded us to make sure there were not audio of video recording devices in the theater.

I've also gotten trinkets and trash at other showings.

YMMV.

I'll report back after I've actually seen the film.
This movie was lame the first time they made it....

...when it was called "The Bucket List"

ZZZZZZZZZZ.....ZZZZ......ZZZZZZZZZZ
Thanks for sharing. I never heard of this before. Madcat and I are moving to Las Vegas in January and will take advantage. The site doesn't appear to have any shows in our current home town.
Watched multiple trailers. Looks funny as hell ! Going to the release at South Point on Oct. 31 @ 10:30 PM.
In all fairness... I'm old and get the references.
Ahhh....sucks to get old. However, Vegas baby....starting Oct.26....all comped !

Can't WAIT to see this!..Enjoy!
I did see Last Vegas as a freebie preview through Gofobo. I would love to see more previews and screenings that way, but have not yet been graced with another invitation, nor do I know how to get more promo codes.

I really enjoyed watching the movie, even though I'm one full generation behind all the main characters. Even if the film is passed off as the old man version of The Hangover, it's really hard to go wrong with four Oscar-winning actors in one place.
marlo36,

I have found that if they show up needing an RSVP code, check back a day or two before the showing. If they don't have enough RSVPs, they appear to then open up the screening to all Gofo members. That's how I got the Last Vegas ticket.
I've seen a trailer for the movie and it looks like a good one. I'll go see it when it hits the theaters.
Thanks for the site info. Sounds like something I would do.
I am looking forward to this movie as do most here. Those that don't would rather insult it before viewing.
(as to be expected)
