Second hand info but it is straight from the source.... and then through my wife. IGT monitors all their progressive machines live 24/7. When it hit they immediately contact the casino. When they contacted Pala the security manager said "are you sure?" When IGT assured them they were put on hold and then disconected. The second call was answered with "We're still checking on that."

I just got the "press release" from Pala today for my website. Obviously they were in a rush to get the good , positive news out, including that it was the biggest, single jackpot/payoff in their history.
