My first time in Vegas...

My partner just gave me a trip to Vegas in September 2012 for my 40th birthday - it's my first time and a dream come true. What are the top three must do's that i should think about for my trip?
Well you may not find these exciting but the three things that come to mind are :
1. Bellagio Gardens (Conservatory)
2. Having a nice drink in your hands at the Rio (I beleive 51st floor) just at dusk when the lights are coming on.
3. If no car jump on the Duece and take a trip down to Fremont Street for a few hours or so.
The Bellagio Fountains (which has water shows choreographed to many different songs)
The Top Three in my opinion are;

1. Time to Say Goodbye ........... by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman
2. Viva Las Vegas .................... by Elvis Presley
3 My Heart Will Go On .............. by Celine Dion

Have a Great Trip, .... Good Luck in the Casinos, and Don't Forget to Write a Trip Report Here.

Rick

Go to the tables or play the slots or VP machines. The Vegas gods see that Vegas virgins always win on their first trip so they become hooked.

Top Three? Hmmm....

1) Downtown's Fremont Street Experience after dusk

2) Bellagio's Fountains, also after dusk

3) A Cirque show, such as KA at MGM

Mystere (most classic of the Cirque shows)
Jubilee
Hoover Dam
Happy early Birthday..... what a fun place to celebrate it.... go have fun, win lots of Money and share a trip report with us upon return.
Another place that you may want to visit is Sam's Town on Boulder Highway.

You can take a free shuttle bus from the Fremont or California if you are downtown.

Here is a youtube video for a sneakpeek:

Sam's Town
I like Sam's Town a lot, but I don't think it should be on a list of the "top three must-do's" for a first-time visitor to see in Vegas. Hoover Dam, Venetian/Pallozo, and Wynncore all place ahead of Sam's Town, and none of them are on my list.
