Name Your Favorite Movie Soundtracks - non-musicals

Saw a showing of "Not Fade Away" pre-release. Great music and nostalgia, but only a so-so movie IMHO.
I forgot "Leaving Las Vegas" and "The Breakfast Club"

Both great for different reasons.
La Bamba
The Buddy Holly Story
All Elvis movies
A few more -
The Last Waltz
Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid
The Sting
Clockwork Orange
Cabaret

Almost Famous
Is it to late to add -

Grease
Viva Las Vegas
Top Gun
Ocean's Eleven
Armageddon
Sahara
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Twilight
Fried Green Tomatoes
No musicals!

Blazing Saddles sung by my favorite singer Frankie Laine. It was nominated for a Acadamy Award. He would have been 100 on this March 30.
The Magnificent Seven. (1960) Oscar nomination for Elmer Bernstein.
The Guns of Navarone. (1961) Oscar nomination for Dimitri Tiomkin.
The Godfather (1972) Golden Globe winner for Nino Rota.
The Sting (1973) Oscar winner for Marvin Hamlisch.

Note that all of these films are 40 years or older. PhotoFinish has been at the track a very long time, and while there are newer works that are good, these scores stand out from the era of when movies were actually good.
The Island and District 9 - very moving soundtracks especially the latter.
