DonDiego wanted to like this show, . . . there's less about Las Vegas on TV, and he looked forward to it.
But, after 15 minutes, . . . during the commercial break in the middle of the confrontation with the "showgirls", he turned the TV off. He doesn't know how it was resolved; he doesn't care either.
It was just too "staged", . . .nothing authentic or spontaneous. And with ignorant and crude behavior, . . . what DonDiego supposes "The Jersey Shore" and "Buckwild" are like. [DonDiego has never seen a single moment of these shows so he requests forgiveness if he demeans them unjustifiably. But he reads this week that a featured player on "Buckwild" got his Ford Bronco stuck in some mud and subsequently died of carbon monoxide poisoning; the' musta been somthin' wrong with that boy, . . . and his two companions.]
Now poor old DonDiego knows some of the earlier Las Vegas reality shows were staged too and reality does not mean realistic on the TV. But occasionally something interesting happened on those shows, like seein' how casino management worked, . . . or security, . . . or high-rollers. Some of the characters were interesting, and even real people DonDiego had met. Jana is a pretty young lady, . . . but poor old DonDiego wonders how long she'd survive if'n she was stuck in the mud.
Just another disappointment on the TV.
