The New iPhone

Hey, Gourdhead, do you always find fault with others who post - or are you just a miserable asshole with nothing redeeming to say?
Does Melonhead find it interesting that he's whining about whining?

Boiler suggests, however, that Melonhead pay more attention to the details. I'm not whining, nor do I care if Melonhead sits on a sidewalk all day in order to acquire a little electronic box. I fully support your right to spend your time any way you like. Why do folks do so? Well, that's a mystery that I appear unable to comprehend. Whining, no. Confused, yes.

Enjoy your phone, Melonhead!

Why people feel the need to spend two days in line for an iPhone is beyond my comprehension. In a month can't everyone just walk into the store and buy one with no wait?

What the hell am I missing out on?

Really? Iphones? Did you run out of political BS to whine about?

No, melonhead did not spend even a minute in line for a tiny electric box. Nor did he go to an online "Las Vegas" forum to whine about people who did....

Hilarious and too funny. It's the Apple Fanboy craze. I still have the iPhone 4S. I'll probably wait until the 7 comes out to get the 5.
I have a young millennial cousin who waited overnight to buy a phone.

She said it was fun, though she said she was not sure if she will do it again. Cousin said it was fun and she made friends. She reminds us that her parents waited in long lines for awesome concerts, etc. when they were kids. The latest and greatest technology is what today's youth are willing to wait in line for.

Can I relate? No. But I certainly respect her decision.

Gee, reminds me of my cell phone.
I waited in line once, from about 4:30am, for concert tickets.
At about 8 am, with an hour or so to go, I "sold" my spot for $50.00.

I understand their are people who will camp out as a placeholder in long lines for appropriation renumeration.
And many of the Apple phones sold were acquired for resale to those "early adapters".

Agreed. I did wait in line for a few concerts.

I'm one of those who end up getting stuff at the very end. So I will likely get an I phone when version 8 or 9 comes out and they have about stopped making flip phones. My last smart phone kept trying to buy ringtones while I was not looking, so I sold the damn thing after the contract ran out as a punishment.

I find it far easier to hear people on a flip phone than a smart phone.

And the hate just keeps on coming - looks like the doc woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning....

I understand that life is confusing for you, boilerman - my apologies.
