New Jersey mom arrested for taking five-year old tanning - You need to see the picture of the mom

I would hope the tanning salon had her sign a legal document to not hold them responsible for that much tanning. I guess this woman came out yesterday and said that people were jealous of her.

I think she specifically said that "pale, fat people" were jealous of her

"Tanning Mom" is red hot over accusations that she's a lousy mother for allegedly letting her 5-year-old daughter burn to a fare-thee-well on a tanning bed -- calling her critics "jealous, fat, and ugly."

44-year-old Patricia Krentcil was in Nutley (perfect) New Jersey yesterday on her way to a hair salon when she unloaded and then proclaimed she was a fabulous mother.

How can she possibly look in the mirror and think that what she sees is attractive. Ick. I agree, the tanning salon should have turned her away ages ago for many reasons. The first picture looked like a shrunken head, but even the later pics look horrible. Some people just don't know when to stop I guess. IMHO. k

This poor lady has an illness, She has an addiction to tanning. She needs proffesional help. I'm questioning if she has any support system to intervene and guide her to the help she needs. What she's engaging in is terribly unhealthy and can have horrible consequences.

Does the tanning salon have a responsisbility? The same question could be asked of a liquor store selling booze to an Alchoholic. Just food for thought.

Just like some bars have patrons that indulge a bit more than others, so do tanning salons. Tanning and booze are things that are probably safe in moderation. Like cigarettes.

Cigarettes safe in moderation? Kidding, right? But that's another dog fight.

Not living in the Chicago area means you miss out on some sweet sight seeing.
