The next time I'm in Vegas, I want to . . .

Meet with the girl in Loydthelover's avatar and spend a couple of days in Vegas with her. Have somee drinks, see a show, have some fancy dinner, do some gambling, get a little intoxicated (just a little) and after all that have lot of fun up in the room
Great topic

I think i spend about 3hours everyday thinking about this. lol.

Gordon Ramsey STK @ Paris
Try Holsteins at Cosmo for Burger and Shake
550 Pizza at Aria
Stop in a Sky Suite @ Aria - this is very budget dependant
Meal @ Carnivo

So many more.

I think half the fun of going to Vegas is planning all the nice places you want to eat at and things you want to see.

I've never been to the Peppermill - was thinking about it for breakfast one day as everyone seems to rave about it. Whats peoples opinions? Is it worth the effort to go?

Reds
The Peppermill is absolutely worth the effort. Great place, nice food, good service, large portions and reasonable prices.

The Peppermill is really worth a visit. We only got to go once but I woukd guess it's pretty consistent because our breakfast was great. When people talk about the huge portions, they are not kidding, their beyond huge. My wife got a beligian waffle with strawberry's and when they set the plate down in front of her, she disappeared, had to look around it if she wanted to see me . I think I had the biscuits and gravy, whatever it was, I finished less than half of it and I walked away with a full belly.

This is a great topic. Every trip something gets left off, that bubbles up for the next trip. Some are weekend trips and others are longer up to a week. Friends ask how can you be in Vegas so long? Easy other than possibly budget. My list leans culinary if any of you know me.

Have knocked most off my list, but the following remain:

Raos
Guy Savoy
Heritage Steak
Nove
Andiamo
Frankie's Tiki Room

Now the trick is intermixing proven favorites with enticing new choices.

Raos was good but nothing spectacular. Andiamo was very good. I liked it a lot.

What is this Tiki Room so many have mentioned?

I want to hit up some of those slightly off strip places like Golden Steer, Capos, Pamplemousse, or that Italian place out by the convention center.
Eat at the peppermill. seems like I never get to it. wanna go there before it is gone.
secret pizza at cosmo
Win the Lion's share at MGM couldn't even get on it last trip. Watched a lady have 400.00 in credits and play it down to 0 and then whip out another 100.00 to keep going. We decided to move on as she was pretty entrenched..
I always make a to-do list and never seem to cover half of it. Reason to return.
- Visit the New Downtown Grand, of course !
- Play the new slot machine for The Walking Dead
- Hit the megabucks jackpot
See the Michael Jackson One show -- it was closed during my August trip.
Walk down a Fremont Street free of Slotzilla, porn slappers and pastie-wearing pirates
