I dont know which group are the Nazi's. Maybe they both are. And thats the problem. Unless Snidely thinks the US should Annex the conflicted areas and make them US States he should weigh in on what genocidal, crazy group he thinks is fit to rule the Middle East. ( It would appear he thinks its the same people that just got done using chemical weapons on their own people.)

Sounds like you would have been an isolationist during WWII. Sometimes vermin needs to be exterminated. If ISIS were to ever get powerful enough,they'd be setting sail for the USA and not to chase blow and hookers in Vegas.

Here is my cynical prediction. Russia invades Syria and Iraq to exterminate ISIS. Russia decides they might need to stick around a bit to keep things safe for Russians. The good news is a more stable world with less radical Muslim terrorism. The bad news is a return to the cold war.

Your position is that we shouldn't do anything. It's an "over there" problem. My position is we start by killing the most dangerous ones and keep going until we find the people, and I"m confident they exist, that want to live peaceful lives. None of the genocidal crazy groups are fit to rule.
