Non-gaming Hotels

If you do have a car and don't mind being that far off the strip, I'm really partial to Southpoint these days. Will be staying there in 2 weeks. Easy comps, nice casino good rooms.
Oh...just cause you brought it up. I know Circus Circus is always a fun target for all of us...but truth be told the refreshened tower rooms there really aren't that awful. In fact, they're probably nicer than many standard rooms at other strip hotels....like Monte Carlo, Flamingo.

If the tower rooms at CC were my only option under $100 - I might actually be interested. Just my opinion.

Julie, if you had a Total Reward Card from Harrah's you can get a room for July 5 at Harrah's, Bally, Flamingo, Quad, or Paris at $75 or less. I checked and I am a lowly gold card owner. Good luck.

Julie,
I prefer road trips whenever possible. Go for it.

Yep, road trip! Between the money you save and not having to deal with the airport it's a no brainer.
It might be worth it to rent a car in your area if you can find a deal.

I remember family road trips above all other activities growing up.
