Obamacare "Navigators" Encourage Fraud

The Eagles next "away" game is not till Dec. 15th.......at Minnesota.

That means daily, non-stop Obama bashing from DD for the next 30 days.

Of course, Bob Orme and the delirious doc will enjoy the hatefest.

If, in fact, it were "non-stop Obama bashing" marcisdave wouldn't know DonDiego had been to Green Bay.

Anyway, the good news, . . . DonDiego will be out-of-town for a Thanksgiving Day NFL game.

The better news, . . . . DonDiego does carry a laptop with him on his travels; now that he knows marcisdave misses his posts, maybe he'll start composing some from distant NFL cities.

And now, . . . given that this thread is about corrupt Obamacare Navigators counseling potential applicants to commit fraud, . . . the best news:
The discredited criminal James O'Keefe's videos of Obamacare Navigators employed by the Urban League of Dallas have resulted in the firing of one employee and the suspension of three, . . . so far. [There are more videos.]

"The Urban League claims 'the video was misleading because 'the full context of these comments is not reflected in the video.' ' ”

"When James O’Keefe, the guerrilla videographer who has now exposed the Obama navigators, went after the corrupt “community organizing” group Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) in 2009, he released videos showing its employees offering advice on running brothels and evading taxes. ACORN’s response was to claim (a) the tapes were edited (b) the incident was isolated and (c) it was letting go of the employees shown in the video."
Ref: National Review

Hmm, . . . DonDiego sees a pattern.
"claim edited tapes" . . . CHECK
"claim isolated incident" . . . CHECK
"fire employee(s) . . . CHECK

"In September 2009, O'Keefe published edited hidden camera recordings in which ACORN employees provided advice on how to avoid detection by authorities of tax evasion, human smuggling and child prostitution. Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). After the videos were released through the fall of 2009, the U.S. Congress voted to freeze federal funding to ACORN. The Census Bureau and the IRS terminated their contract relationships with ACORN.
By December 2009, an external investigation of ACORN was published that cleared it of any illegality, while noting that its poor management practices contributed to unprofessional actions by some low-level employees. In March 2010, ACORN announced it would dissolve due to loss of funding from government and especially private sources."
Ref: wikipedia

Hmm, . . . "poor management practices contributed to unprofessional actions by some low-level employees."
Wouldn't background checks be a management practice? DonDiego wonders what mischief the Obamacare Navigators, . . . subject to no Federal Backgroud Checks and having access to Obamacare applicants financial data, . . . could achieve.

Anyway, . . . ACORN is no more. DonDiego can only hope the same fate awaits Obamacare Navigators.

Yes, you can read Don Diego's same Wikipedia reference and learn that James O'Keefe heavily edited his damning tapes of ACORN where he pasted images of himself dressed up as a flamboyant pimp into scenes with his dealing with ACORN...and ignored the fact that ACORN informed authorities of the some of the questionable contexts in which he presented himself.

OH - AND That link will also educate viewer's of O'keefe's other "fair-n-balanced" associations including Brietbart.com which is notorious for publishing edited tapes of Obama's inner circle member, Shirley Sherrod, which flagrantly and falsely presented her as a racist.

After Don Diego has drawn very angry comparisons between the Obama Administration and Orwell's "Ministry of Truth"....he now rests his case on someone whose edited, false propaganda is very much a known quantity.

I really want to take Don Diego seriously as someone who has a legitimate beef with some of the current policy that's being implemented...but when he uses a professional propaganda artist as a source how is that remotely possible?

That's why DonDiego provides sources and links. pjstroh can decide what he wants to believe and what he does not want to believe.

__In spite of the complaints pjstroh makes against the O'Keefe ACORN tapes, as a direct result of those tapes the Federal Government cancelled all funding to ACORN, . . . and ACORN disbanded. [DonDiego has read that many former ACORN operatives now belong to the "community organizations" from which Obamacare Navigators are drawn. Perhaps pjstroh can investigate this and report back if it's true or not.]

__DonDiego does not "draw angry comparisons"; DonDiego is not angry. If the fictional Administration of Oceania were real DonDiego would apologize to Big Brother for comparing his to the present actual Administration of the USA.

__DonDiego has no case. He makes no argument. He is presenting news items pertaining to questionable activities within a colossal Federal Government Goat Rope. It is entertaining.

__Sometimes a professional propagandist is correct.
Whatever pjstroh decides to believe won't change the fact that some Obamacare Navigators have counseled presumed Obamacare applicants to commit fraud on tape.
Whatever pjstroh decides to believe won't change the fact that, as a direct result of Mr. O'Keefe's videos, some Obamacare Navigators have been fired or suspended.

More videos are likely to be released. pjstroh may believe what they reveal or not. The facts don't care.

I wonder what former ACORN employee Juan Carlos Vera did with the $100,000 he made James O'Keefe pay for smearing Vera?

It took Vera four years to nail O'Keefe for his completely deceptive ACORN videos. But gullible Don Diego prefers to believe O'Keefe's lies, and so he does, lickety split. Hook, line, and sinker.

Did Chilcoot find that information on DonDiego's link? It was there.

DonDiego is continually surprised about how much of what he observes is not black-and-white, . . . but lots of grey, to which one one must apply judgement.

That's why DonDiego provides links.

That's why some other folks do not provide links.

[See the notes to pjstroh, above, for clarification.]

Nowhere in the links you provided does it say what Vera did with the $100,000 he forced O'Keefe to give him.

What are you talking about?

DonDiego is "talking about" the information which Chilcoot provided.

[This sort of nonsense is why DonDiego seldom responds to Chilcoot posts; he shall try to stick to that policy more firmly. This conversation is over.]

This isn't really a conversation, you're just mumbling nonsense to yourself, and posting it to the internet, giving us a laugh.
Yes, Don Diego provides links. And readers are able to choose for themselves what sources are credible and what are not.. for the record, Don Diego does not consider Factcheck.org to be credible because their founding Republican benefactor also gave money to improve Chicago based education as affiliated with Bill Ayers.....but then Don Diego says "facts" can be derived from someone who has made a living publishing fabricated BS.

But its a free country..we all have our own standards.

For example...
After hurricane Katrina, Spike Lee said George Bush used military submarines to blow up the levies in New Orleans. that was BS. i'm sure Spike Lee has made statements of true fact since that time but you will never see me cite him here as a source of credible information. I would be too embarrassed to do that. Given his history i might be afraid people would point and laugh at me for citing him. but like I said...its a free country...Don Diego can cite anyone he wants

Says the guy who wanted Herman "All Those Women Who Say I Cheated On My Wife With Them Are Liars" Cain to be President.

That guy can't even get a Fox News gig lol.

What in the hell does that have to do with anything I wrote?
