A truck carrying ketchup had an accident on I-80 in Reno, NV spilling 22 tons of the condiment on to the highway.
I loved this line: "Health officials will declare the spilled ketchup a loss so it can be taken to the dump."

I put it on just about everything,
..... from fries, burgers, steak, pork, fish, eggs, beans, chicken,
meatloaf, sausage subs, steak subs, onion rings, fried seafood, ........... well you get the idea.

Not long ago there was a minor train wreck at an industrial park. A car that was damaged was paper products. They had a huge "train sale". Things like a 24/8 roll case of t.paper for $10.00. A little dented , but doesn't matter.

Now this makes me cry more than the spilled ketchup.

Spill at Chivas plant sends whisky into Scottish sewer



LONDON — A massive spill at a Chivas plant has sent the smell of spirits flowing through a Scottish sewer and sorrow coursing through the hearts of Scotch whisky fans.

Chivas Brothers Ltd. spokeswoman Jennifer Stevenson says the group is investigating what she described as an "accidental loss" of spirit at the company's bottling plant in Dumbarton, Scotland on Feb. 26.

She declined to estimate how much of the bulk whisky had been lost, saying only that it was less than the 4,755 gallons mentioned in media reports.

Bulk whisky can be used in various ways, and it wasn't immediately clear which Chivas brand the liquid was meant to fill.

Stevenson said Friday she did not want to comment on the spill's circumstances until the company had completed its investigation.

Ketchup on fish? I hope it was battered. I can't imagine having a piece of barbecued or baked halibut or salmon with ketchup on it.

The wife puts ketchup on lima beans ,However I learned the cause of it. Her parents were the "clean plate" parents, whatever was on your plate at supper time(not dinner,if your from the south, you understand the difference) she wasn't allowed to leave until she ate it all so her and her sister came up with the idea of ketchup. That was the only way they could get them down. If I were ever forced toeat lima beans, I'd need some help as well.

Jon: Lima beans yuk I'm with your wife. As a child I didn't put ketchup on them just hid them under my plate. My brother & I had to clean off the table & do the dishes. My parents never let on that they knew what was happening.

I actually liked lima beans as a kid. I hated when my dad made liver and onions. I took more than my fair share of the onions. I also poured ketchup and steak sauce on the liver. Thank God my dad didn't prevent me from doing it.

The best news ever was when it was reported that liver was not good for you. We never had liver after that, and I wasn't dissapointed at all.
