PICK 'EM VIDEO POKER

Only at the Fremont as far as I know.

Been playen practice:https://www.vpgenius.com/video-poker/free/single-hand-pick-em-poker.aspx

Took 3 hours for me to get a flush, then took another hour to get 2 full houses.

Over those 5 hours ,I have been dealt many 2 pairs:first 4 cards!That's a shame.

Maybe in another 5 hours,I can make quads.

Has anyone been dealt quads?

That would be a remarkable shame.

I know it's a VERY volitile game with 2/3 of all dealt hands being junk.

In video poker,I know some one who was dealt a RF!

She was so nervous, she was shaking all over!!!!!!!!GAWD,what if the machine malfunctioned?

Anyhow,I'll be pounding away at the Fremont next week.

I wish myself "good cards".

Bob Dancer's strategy cards are VERY helpful.

Bought his Video Poker For Winners software and I found out how RUSTY I really was!

I just play J.O.B. 9/6 and I'll spend some time at the MSS,4Q,CAL and the Tez.
dds, as a vid poker player, are you someone who, like a lot of others, collects those w2g forms throughout the year, then has to make multiple passes through your tax return this time of year because of an inflated AGI? How do you guys deal with that problem?
In the summer of 2012, I reported that while showing an ECLVA player how to play the game, she was dealt quad jacks. She was exited until I told her it was a BAD thing. Here's the pic

Sionow, that photo with dealt quad jacks makes my heart sink. I play some "Pick 'Em" here in Minnesota. Thanks for sharing. ddd228, best of luck in Vegas next week.

The first time I played pick'em I hit a quad at the Fremont. RecVPPlayer was playing next to me, giving some pointers..couldn't believe my luck.

OH MY! It DID happen to some poor soul!

Yes,I would have taken a picture of it too!

SHIT! At the top of my lungs in the casino, would be my response.

I hope that never happens to me.

I don't get that many RF hands.
I do keep a record of what I spend and lose and win. Well, the IRS does that for me.
I pay the tax and I don't care: I have a LOT of money to play with.
The most I have ever had,at one time.
Your topic can be a new thread,if you like.
I do enjoy pick em, the money can go fast but it's still fun and a change from VP. Have fun win big.

Basically, winning hands in Pick'Em have to be dealt,
because you are not throwing away any cards, and then drawing cards.

The reason that "I don't get that many RF hands", is because a Royal Flush would also have to be dealt.

You would be dealt two cards on the left that would be 2 parts of a Royal,
and then one card showing of the two Pick'Em piles would have to be the third card to a Royal,
then under that card HAS TO BE the other two cards needed to complete a Royal.

The odds of getting a Royal Flush dealt is 650,000 to 1.

So hitting a Royal Flush on Pick'Em averages approximately 16 times longer than most other Video Poker games.

I agree,but
You have to EARN a RF or quads by drawing cards.
Yes,it's a LONG time between good hands!
@.25 a hand,$20 can go away quickly!
I pick any 3 card straight or flush.
About 11:1 to fill one of those.
