Plaza to charge RESORT FEE

Starting July 24th the Plaza will begin a $10.00 resort fee.

So what do you get: wireless, free 800 and local calls, bottled water, free parking and a coupon book.

Check it out on their website undel hotel services.
Sounds reasonable, if you're asking opinions.
Just posting for information. Their main web page says No Resort Fee.
Hmmpf!

Parking is free anyways.
Calls are free with your cellphone, which just about everyone has.
You can pick up 24 bottles of water for under $3 at store.

What's left?
Wireless? But, you have NO laptop with you. Useless.

Ok, a stupid coupon book with nothing you can use.

TOTALLY REDIC RESORT FEE!

(Another place off my never to step into!)

I've got no problem with Plaza's decision. This is the pricing scheme that so many of its competitors have imposed, can't blame them for responding to the pressure to keep room rates artificially low through a supplemental resort fee. Resort fees are easy to research and incorporate into our decisions about where to stay.

Their wifi charge alone used to be $12 per device per day, so for a lot of us this won't be an increase, all else being equal.
The problem with the rip-off fee is that not everyone uses the wifi, all things being equal. You idiots that like to give your money away can do so. I won't stay at any casino that charges a rip-off fee.

I think we've had this discussion before. But to clarify, you would pay $99 with no resort fee to stay at, say, Flamingo rather than take an offer from a nicer property with a rate of 69 plus a $20 resort fee, right. Principal of the matter?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING??? IT'S THE END OF LODGING AS WE KNOW IT!!!!!!!!!!

Wait a minute, don't you actually have to be a resort before you can charge a resort fee??
