There is no disputing that but you are comparing apples and oranges since the personnel and the opponents were different However, you are using that one situation to imply that Tebow is a good quarterback and more valuable to the Broncos than Manning which is utterly ridiculous. Once again, I will point to the fact that the people in the NFL aren't clamoring for him because they understand the limitations of his skills. If he had the Ravens defense of 2000 (or Bears of 85) then he could possibly stumble into a SB victory. If you put him as the QB on a team with a very poor defense versus players like Brady, Manning, and Rodgers with that same personnel then there is no chance that he can win as many games as they would. Denver squeaked out many games last year due to a tough defense and Tebow not losing the game.

For example, I could be dealt four aces in VP and then only hold one and draw to a royal. Just because that worked once, it doesn't make me a good VP player.

Peyton should have been in the game defensively at cornerback in final moment of regulation. If Peyton or any other defender makes a play on the 70-yard desperation bomb in which the Bronco defense inexplicably left Jacoby Jones alone behind coverage, the storyline would have been much different.

That's well said and points out that there are many factors that influence the outcome of a game. That defensive blunder is what gave drmilled the motive to chime in about this at all. If not for that mistake then the Denver TEAM would be advancing.
Peyton had 3 turnovers that led to 17 points. One thing Tebow does not do is turn the ball over. Today when the Broncos cleaned out their stuff from their locker room, Manning was no where to be found. Last year, Tebow did not shy away from the media, win or lose. I guarantee you that if the Broncos had won yesterday Peyton would have made himself available to the media today. Peyton may be a very fine quarterback but he ain't half the stand up guy that Tebow is.

Wow you act like Peyton is out at the clubs every night partying with differnt women every night. After the game he took the blame for that INT but the fact remains if the defense would not have given up that cheap touchdown before the end of regulation the Bronco's would still be playing.

Peyton is a fine quarterback. I will take his numbers and his Superbowl win over Tebow's fine character and one and lucky playoff win any day.

The way it looks now Tebow will be starting his ministry any day now and Peyton will be getting ready for next year.

This is like slow pitch batting practice. The balls look like watermelons as we crush them out of the park with our 34-ounce Louisville Slugger. In 2011, when Tebow actually played some, he fumbled 13 times, losing 6, third highest in the NFL.
And if Peyton's 2 turnovers had not led to 14 points before the end of regulation, the"cheap touchdown" would have been redundant.
You win, Doctor. Tebow is the NFL Hall of Famer. Manning is a schmuck.
Winning, just what I was talking about. Manning is not a schmuck and Tebow is not an NFL Hall of Famer. But, Tebow did win and Manning did not.

Yes, the actual events of the Denver - New England game last year is all there is to say.

This is even bigger nonsense than someone arguing that Trent Dilfer is one of the great QB's ever because he happened to be the QB for the Ravens in 2000. At least someone could argue that he was more influential than Tebow has been or ever will be.

Being a lovely human being is not the debate here.
