Remember any of this stuff?

8 track tapes and players.

These were very popular at one time due to their portability and convenience at that time.

That being said, the tape was constantly under more stress and would break. If you left them in the car and it was a hot day, they would fry and not play any more. It seemed that the best song on an album was always cut in two for a track change, which seemed to take 5 seconds or longer in the middle of the song.

How about Pong & Space Invaders?

These may be a NYC creatures - stickball, punchball & spaldeens

I had a Pong game.

Remember the Space Invaders song? He's hooked, He's hooked, his brain is cooked!

Hmm, that could be said about Vegas, too.
I remember one of our favorite hangouts looked like an 8 track graveyard. We would all go to this one spot and park and party under the trees. Once your tape was "eaten" you would just toss it out the window. We weren't environmentally sensitive back then.

I'm surprised that killjoy cootie hasn't posted yet to bring everyone down with her words of non-wisdom. Thought that the footballl game was in the 60's and 70's because I remember having one of those when I was young. I also remember the sugar frosted flakes, always noticed after I finished the bowl that there was a residue in the milk. using a magnet I could move the residue around, later found out that it was your daily iron supplement.
More lawsuit city

I have never heard of this

Rick
I used to jokingly accuse girlfriends who never gained weight "you must have a tapeworm."

By gosh, they might have! Hopefully they bought the "sanitized" ones...LOL.
