Rental Car advice for Vegas

A word of warning, I just booked a three day rental on Hotwire assuming company didn't matter since they should all be out of the Rent a Car terminal and got stuck with Sixt, whom I never heard of. Granted they are across the street but either I have to walk over there with luggage or grab a second shuttle. I wasn't pleased as the description said on airport/shuttle to vendor. Not shuttle to rental center and second shuttle to vendor. At least the few reviews I've seen for Sixt were pretty good. Anyone have experience with them?
Yes, we used Sixt in Iceland, of all places a year ago. We had not planned on a car as bus service very good. But weather poor and too cold to wait for bus. I thought we would pay a mint as off-the-street renters but it was very reasonable, car was excellent and they took us back to our residence upon car return (we had gotten there on the bus). Of course we were visiting Americans and they were very friendly. They appear to be trying very hard to compete over here, never have checked their rates.
Last couple of times I've used the pay now feature at Budget. Both times its come in under a $125 for the 5 night stay and its for a full size. Beats daily checking and I'm happy with the price even tho its much higher than the $80 of old, but lower than the more recent $140-150.
I booked Budget a few weeks ago for $130 for seven days for a full size . I checked the other day and it dropped even further to 121 ! Pay now rate . Budget service is great . Bob

I also go with the best deal I can find and look daily for changes. One thing to mention - When there is only a slight difference between my choice and another, I don't change. I like EZ rent a car, so much less hassle at the booth. I have waited over an hour in line at Payless, and when we got to the desk we understood why - they salesmen are unreal - trying to sell you insurance, different coverage, adding things to the bill you did not want, etc. Really check out your paperwork before signing!! I know the price I was quoted, and that's the price I will agree to, no more.

Solid points on Payless, long lines, and the "pitch", but luckily I have no problems telling them NO and actually get a kick out of it. I make sure I check the paper work, and only pay what I was quoted, and have had "added charges" from Dollar rental car after the fact, I protested when I turned in the car and the guy gave me a number to call and they took care of it.
