I believe that the intelligent public has spoken. Hopefully this trend will continue all the way to the White House.

"intelligent public" voting in another tea partier because Cantor wasn't conservative enough for them. Thanks for the morning laugh, doc!

As I stated,"I believe that the intelligent public has spoken"- I knew you would not get it, Gourdhead.

Worst attempted quoting ever, by a non toddler.

Cantor lost because he wasn't Neanderthal enough on the issue of immigration reform.

The Republican Party in California is pretty much non-existent because of the anti-Mexican Proposition 187 and its aftermath. Previously, the conservative Catholic Mexicans used to vote for the GOP in substantial numbers - but not any more. The Asian population in the US is growing at a faster rate than the Hispanics, and they are equally offended by the Republicans.

And in six or eight years, anti-immigrant politicians will have a hard time getting elected...in Texas! I can't wait.

Reform? Just another mass amnesty.

The only way to reform the immigration problem is to fix the damn boarder. Identify everybody that is in this country illegally and give them a choice to pay a large fine immediately, or send them into Mexico. Let them deal with their own people.

Cantor got what he deserved and hopefully the rest of the GOP best learn that they can be voted out of office if they don't watch it.

Forkie, don't worry, the midterms are going to show your party what is like to be a minority again....

So jatki, how did your predictions for the last two presidential elections turn out? And anyone remember Don Diego's "Uninstalling Barack Obama" graphic? That was a laugh riot.

So here's my only prediction for 2014 - and 2016 for that matter: Whoever complains about the pollsters, loses. And here's a prediction from Senator McCain. I sure hope he's right.

Hahaha! I'd love to see the hate Chris Matthews is getting over at Dailykos for his anti-government rants lately.

I was listening to [David] Brat last night, and today. I hink he's very sophisticated for a politician. He's certainly up to the ranks of most politicians I've ever dealt with. He speaks in a speculative manner and an intellectual manner. He can handle any debate on this program or my program. This looking down our noses at tea party people has got to stop. They have a message, they're as American as any liberal is, and they're really angry about the failure of the system.

I was over covering eastern Europe when the wall came down. The thing people didn't like, it wasn't the philosophy of communism they didn't like, it was the complete corruption of it, the failure of it to deliver to working people. And that's what this system's doing right now. We can't control the deficit, we can't control the debt, we can't control the border. What is government good at? And that's the question that's happened on every issue we've covered on our show.
