I haven't followed this story closely. I didn't read the OP (never read walls of text). I haven't read any of the posts that followed. I do sadly have some idea what this is about.

I hope nothing bad happens to this alleged laptop thief, Dave. Because Bagiant made some very ugly threats against Dave here for the world to see, and juries tend not to go lightly on people who say things about murder and assault victims like Bagiant did here about Dave.

I called him and went ballistic on his voice mail. I probably said some things that I shouldn't have said like, "if anything has happened to that laptop...or if you sold it....I'm going to slit your throat from ear to ear!" I also mentioned something about bashing his head in over and over until his own mother wouldn't recognize him.

Can only imagine what recordings Dave has of Bagiant.

I don't know what Bagiant's nightly routine is, even though I'm sure he's written about it here. But it might not be a bad idea for him to mix in a prayer for Dave's continued good health.

Ah yes, pity the poor criminal because he was " threatened" for stealing someone else's property and won't admit to having it and refuses to return it. Typical liberal thinking. This type of "thinking" is what is wrong with America.

No. What is wrong here is Bags taking a criminal matter into his own hands. Of course if he was half as capable of getting it back as he claims to be, he would have his laptop.

I'VE READ SOME OF HIS STORIES AND GOT THE IMPRESSION HE WAS WITH THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, OR SOME KIND OF LAWYER....SEEMS TO KNOW ALL THE RIGHT PEOPLE.

WHAT IS HE ALL ABOUT...THE TRUTH...NO FUNNY IDEAS.

Making a threat to someone who has stolen one's property will never be equal to the actual act of stealing. Following thru with a threat would be a criminal act. There is a difference. The only one "looking like a criminal" here is the thief.
