SW airline pts query

Bag, its actually $12.50 each way and you don't have to worry about checking in 24 hrs early. Its a no-brainer for me, but than all my flights are for free (thanks to Visa)...so $25 for the flight is a great price.
Since a lot of people are doing it, you still might get a B ticket (although a low one), especially if you book close to the flight.

Being one of the first off the plane is no big deal to me, when it's all said and done, it's only 5-10 minutes difference depending how far back you are. I guess I've learned to slow down a little and not try and be in such a rush all the time. I used to get so frustrated in traffic for instance speed from light to light dodging in and out of traffic and you know what, I just decided to back off and found out it really didn't make that big a difference in the time it took to get from A to B. Now I laugh at the guys who blow by me and here I mosey up on up to 'em at the next red light. .

I can see if somebody wants to pay to save a few minutes I suppose, but not for me(us). We can eat a decent lunch for 25$ somewhere.

BTW Thx again for the help, the point difference is going to end up being the difference in using all our points to being able to get two more trips somewhere else.

Bag, I have noticed the same thing it is odd but I think if you are on the second leg of a flight you can check in 24 before the flight starts not the second leg.
Example Flight 1234 is Chicago (2:00 pm ) to St Louis (3:00 pm ) to Vegas you are on the St Louis to Vegas leg I think you can check in 24 hours before the Chicago time 2:00 and not wait until 3:00.
I have checked in 23 hrs and 55 minutes and have got C boarding passes. I have also checked in 24 hrs and 50 minutes before departure time but it was the second leg.
