Swartz fired.

You can add Shanahan to the list, Snyder canned him today.

The Colts won with Jim Irsay.

The Cowboys won a few with Jerry Jones back when he occasionally listened and was less threatened by a coach with a backbone.

.

Sure, 50 years of Ford doesn't help. But ridiculous ownership isn't a bar to Super Bowl championship.

It is a bar to a championship if the owner keeps hiring incompetant people.

bbking, that sounds more like UM Hiring football coaches in recent years......Zing!

Go Green!
bout time-nuff said, this team is loaded with talent. This will be the coaches choice of place to go, maybe Houston?

You really want to get into this?Especially since MSU football has stunk the better part of the last 50 years?

You are switching topic. I am saying your last few coaches have turned a once proud program into a mediocre program. I'm not debating the previous great history of UM. If you think Hoke is the long term solution then march on and be happy my friend.
Sorry,I misinterpreted your post.Only time will tell if Hoke will turn the Michigan program around.Rich Rod totally destroyed the program.

I hope it turns around for ya..

So does a few hundred thousand of us.lol.
The Lions had their chance at a first division title in 20 years and choked it away. Packers were without Rodgers, Mathews and many others, Bears had Cutler, Briggs, Peanut and others out. And the Lions promptly gagged. They were very much like the Wayne Fontes Lions of the past lol. I enjoyed it. Maybe it's time for Mornhinweg round 2I.

ETA, actually when I look at it, Fontes has been the most successful coach they've had in a long time. 66-67. I thought Mariucci would have been a good coach but he had crappy players to work with.
