A Tad Tardy On The IBTD

All forums go this route.

Internet forums are basically the modern water cooler. Acquaintances gather around and talk about whatever comes up. We may have gathered to talk about Vegas (myself to learn how to save money in Vegas) but we have grown accustom to each other and different issues and subjects arise. If we only talked about Vegas the board would slow and become boring.

Anthony- The most successful internet forums are the ones with the loosest rules. I would encourage you to investigate my friend Scott Tempesta's site, Sailing Anarchy. It is one of the more successful internet forums and THE most successful Sailing site. I will warn you though. Cordiality is not a term they are familiar with.

IBFTD

OMG! Very funny and right on spot.

Okay.....you folks just don't realize how many threads I actually post "IBTD" and the threads get zapped.....because there is no history to go back on......Mod D ( or choose whatever letter in the alphabet) zaps them for life. Sometimes I got the "IBTD" in days before zapping....other times just an hour or minutes before said threads were vanquished.

I like to think I had a 40% or so success rate.

With the new, kinder, friendlier, allowing more pol threads FFA........testy threads have a longer shelf life.


And somebody please explain what "IBFTD" means ? And no four letter words

The "F" is a four letter word. Anthony asked nicely. I respect that.

You guys made me go look up IBTD. This place is just is one big SNAFU.

A really good test would be for you not to post at all and see if the threads stay on. If they do you're right, it is you.
