Tebow released by the Jets

Skip Bayless and Stephen A. had a good discussion about Tebow today. Stephen A. is right that Tebow can't throw well and Skip is right that there are about 12 teams that will be better with Tebow than what they have now at QB. Teams don't want the circus that comes along with Tebow. A lot of that circus is generated by Tebow himself.

1. "Skip Bayless and Stephen A. had a good discussion". No, they did not. Never have, never will.

2. "there are about 12 teams that will be better with Tebow than what they have now at QB". There are only eight CFL teams, so I guess we are including Arena League teams. Even with that I think 12 is high, they got some guys up North that can spin it.

Why do people care about what God a person prays to or who they have or don't have sex with? Maybe Tebow's piety makes people uncomfortable.
Maybe because they read this somewhere:

"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others."

Two thousand years ago Tebow would have been playing for the Pharisees. Back up of course.
Some pretty damning (poor word choice acknowledged) comments about Tebow's prospects of playing even in the Canadian Football League. Hall of Famer Warren Moon, who played in CFL prior to NFL, says Tebow doesn't have the ability to play in the CFL. A CFL general manager says he has Tebow on his scouting list, but wants to make it clear that Tebow would be competing for a role as a backup.
If you look at professional football as a business, it makes great sense to put Tebow at QB. Fans will buy tickets to see him and buy merchandise.

I think it would have to be a team in Florida. The best team for him (Jacksonville) didn't want to sign him. I know the argument of Tebow fans is that he finds a way to win, but can you blame an organization for not wanting to put their faith in this guy when he performs poorly (at least throwing) in practice, and doesn't look good in games until late in the fourth quarter.

Jacksonville is delusional to think they will win with what they have now. Besides, the fans (and DrMilled) loved Tebow in Denver. Even NY fans liked him a lot more than Sanchez.
As a fan of my local Arizona Cardinals, I would like to see the San Francisco 49ers, St. Louis Rams or Seattle Seahawks sign Tebow.

Edited to add: I am not a Tim Tebow basher. The very fact that we are talking about Tebow and the NFL during the off season is good for the league. ... I just don't think he is very good and is a distraction to any team that picks him up, not so much because of the media, but because they should be investing their energy in a QB that has a bigger upside. That's all.
Tim Tebow will be very successful in life, just not at football playing.

Relative to the competition, he's bad at it. REALLY bad.

I know this by watching him play football, which he is not good at playing.
BULLETIN!!! BULETTIN!!! Chargers just might sign TT. Remember, the current Charger head coach was an assistant coach when TT was with Denver and he made up the plays that Tebow ran for the Broncos. Didn't TT lead the Broncos to 7 straight wins and a playoff win against Steelers when he threw a pass the Steelers weren't expecting.

He could just possibly come to the Chargers if the price is right!
Good news! The Omaha Beef of the indoor football league have offered Tim a contract at $75 per game. The Beef's current QB, James McNear, said, "I think Tim can learn a lot from me."
