Oh, . . . and there were cemeteries.
And there was an NFL game in the Superdome.
And on the way home teechur and DonDiego visited some casinos along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. One small joint in particular was quite pleasant. The visit was midday on a weekday, so the place wasn't particularly crowded, . . . just enough folks to make it interesting.
They offered very player-friendly low-limit blackjack, and lots of players who knew nothing of proper strategy. And a long bank of 9/6 Jacks-or-Better Game King machines. DonDiego managed to make a small withdrawal.
Although teechur and DonDiego didn't dine there, there was a neat restaurant with an outdoor shaded patio overlooking Biloxi Bay.
Anyway, the place is Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville Casino. DonDiego recommends it highly.
