Doesn't surprise me. There's a little enclave in our town that once was almost all black, if not all of it. There was a fair amount of crime, mostly drugs, it was enough the police established a "post" when one of the townhouses went in to forclosure. Then overnight it was all of a sudden all hispanic, I haven't seen a black person around there in years. All the local stores are now hispanic, there's a couple taco trucks(which aren't bad) in one of the plaza's and it has it's very own beanie-weinee too. The only crime I've heard or read about is prostitution(underage at that) and some drugs. Another neighborhood that was once complete hillbilly/redneck good ol boy area has had a lot of hispanics move in, but no idea ratio as I don't get over there very much nowadays.

The city of Baltimore and the state of Vermont have roughly the same population.
Baltimore is roughly 80% "of color"; Vermont is all white.

In 2012 Baltimore had 217 homicides.
Vermont had 4-that's FOUR.

Baltimore has some of the most anti-freedom gun laws in the US.
Vermont has just about the loosest.

Now someone tell me that "guns" are at fault for homicides.

Guns, by themselves, have never been the problem. The animals that use them to commit a crime are the problem. The crime statistics for Baltimore and the state of Vermont speak for themselves. Any rational thinking person knows where the problems with guns are found and why.
