You're right that GDP was down 0.1% in Q4. Military spending was down 22% for the quarter, the biggest drop in 40 years. It impacted growth for the QUARTER. But as BEA announced yesterday, for the YEAR AS A WHOLE GDP was up 2.2%.



My signature is about yearly growth, so I stand by it, growth for the year increased 2.2%, more than I claimed.

esteskefauver used to post here as banjorobjerrythestripper. He was banned under that name because of his overt racism. Obviously stung by that, he’s been more subtle under his new name, but not too subtle to be recognized.

Why are racists and gun enthusiasts so quick to point out factual data such as murders in Vermont versus murders in Baltimore, but so quick to ignore and/or disregard the amount of murders somewhere such as Britain, as compared to the United States? Aw, I see, it's called seeing what you want to see.......and by the way, there are 67.9 people per square mile in Vermont compared to 2,000 people per square mile in Baltimore. DUH---could this have anything to do with it?

My opinion - I love Vermont, and never noticed the color thing, I think people there are more mellow since the police don't really care about small amounts of pot.

I don't care what color you are - I care that you treat me with the same respect that I give to you, a friendly "hello" or wave never hurt anyone. I work with people of many colors, and it's a beautiful thing.

Why are batshit leftists so quick to pretend oblivion to anemic homicide rates in all white areas with gun freedom contrasted to ultra-high homicide rates in "of color" locales with socialistic gun restrictions?

All white Switzerland, with MUCH looser laws than the US, including legal machine guns has a murder rate barely
