Today is a landmark anniversary

Two years ago today, Elena Kagan was the first woman named to the U.S. Supreme Court. We have come a long way as a country since the days that women were supposed to be pregnant and barefoot and gays were not allowed to vote.

Wasn't Sandra Day O'Connor the first woman named to the Supreme Court? In matter of fact, I believe Elena Kagan was the fourth woman named to the Supreme Court.

DonDiego is suspicious of this post.
There was also Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

Hmmm . . . don't know why but I expected this thread to features Bags, Volcanos, Nuclear explosions, and a slow mo of a long haired blonde running barefoot in the surf.
And - it might have been more interesting

Humans serving on the court should not be judged based on their race, creed, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation, marital status, ancestry, disability or veteran status
or butts
The one overriding qualification should be common sense, which presently is rarely utilized.
