Traveller's Wi Fi in Vegas Poor connection, GOOD CS!

The internet in these hotels is so slow, its like dialup speed sometimes.
I don't mind paying for it. It adds to the excitement.
I received another email today, after responding to their partial refund message by expressing my dissatisfaction once again.

Happy to report the company "did the right thing by me."

Hello Mr. xxxxxxxx,

We wouldn’t want to lose a customer over $6.99. Your account will reflect a second refund to complete a 100% return. We hope you try our service again upon your return. Cheetah now also offers CLEAR WiMAX- on a USB Rental program. Please contact us upon your return for details.

Warm Regards,

Mitch

I will verify these wi fi spots next week. https://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/showtable.cfm?id=18
Downtown is said to have free wi fi.
If that is OK,cool. Otherwise it's the coffee shop across from the El Cortez or the Grand. One of those 2.
No,I won't pay for internet connection.

ummm.....it might be a bit better five years later.

I know... I didn't see the latest thread about wi-fi.

Alex, I'll take "Digging Up Old Threads" for $400 please.
LOL...I was just downtown last week.

I could connect to the LV FREE internet out in the street at the 4 Queens outdoor bar.

these days, more people bring tablets than laptops. so much easier to carry, and most are inexpensive. I no longer lug the laptop with me, my ziki tablet was less than $100 and works just fine.
