TV's greatest villains

It seems to be a loose definition of villain to me on this list and some other comments. For example,

Cartman, annoying little brat.

The old Wo Fat, Excellent choice! I've never seen the new one.

Newman, too much of a weenie to be taken serious enough as a villain character.

Eddie Haskell, obnoxious teenager at most. Perhaps if he had rigged Mrs. Cleaver's oven to explode then that would constitute a villain in my book.

I would add Olivia D'Abo as Nicole Wallace in a few episodes of Law & Order C.I.

I agree that Frank Burns wasn't a villain, he was just a putz! The real villain on MA$H was Major Flagg, the intelligence (or lack thereof) officer.

Good Luck!

I'll grant you that Flagg is closer than Burns but he was still too stupid to be a good villain for me. I've always assumed that villains have a certain level of intelligence when battling the forces of good.

Ex: McGarrett vs. Wo Fat on the old Hawaii Five O.

No villain list is complete without a megalomaniac dwarf.

I'm compiling a list of everyone who has ever been on television. I'll get back to you.

Sheriff Roscoe B Coltrane

aka: James Best

Now lives here in North Carolina, does some nice artwork now, has been on the stations a few times. Had him autograph a book for Frankie Rizzio and Roscoe once.

Oh my! Did you check out some of his artwork? This one features the Dukes of Hazzard Car meeting up with the A-Team van. Don't get me wrong - its a lot better than anything I could put together, but it looks like something you might win at a carnival game.

Up heh' in Appalachia, them's known as "good pitchurs".

A few better paintings if you look around his website:

Nice to see a evil villain turn good and take up a nice hobby.
Don't forget the evil foes of CONTROL:

Siegfried (Bernie Kopell) Vice President in charge of Public Relations and Terror at KAOS

The Claw (Leonard Strong) representing the east-Asian branch of KAOS. In place of the Claw's left hand is a powerful mechanical prosthesis with immobile fingers and an occasional attachment, hence his name. Sometimes the Claw would accidentally nab something with it, creating confusion. He is unable to pronounce the letter L and mispronounces his name as "Craw," with Smart repeatedly referring to him as "The Craw"
