If it were socialism the 25 year old making 25k a year would pay $100 a month and there would be no co pays or deductibles. That’s the type of change I could have believed in.

Yes and I kind of find it ironic since I am filing I might as well get my surgery. I am simply going to walk in the ER and fake the pain that is symptomatic of my condition. I’ll get the surgery and a bill for about 40k. I can’t wait till the hospital’s financial services person comes to my room and asks how I am going to pay for my bill. I am going to look her straight in the eye and say I have no intention of paying for it isn’t America great?

If I knew the real number for my state I’d use it. The Republicans in my state are inflating it, but I won’t know what the real number is until the exchange goes online.

I definitely do.

Remember, only people who receive services pay out-of-pocket expenses. And to get to $6,350 in out-of-pocket for a year on a silver plan would have to have over $21,000 in expenses. That's unusual. And without insurance, that person has to pay it all.

And if he can't pay it, the rest of us do, when the hospital starts charging the rest of us $17 for Advil.
