Just another note to ad, the seeds of unions were anything but display's of civil disobedience, in fact they were often extremely violent. Homestead steel workers, Pinkerton security guards off the top of my head for starters. Back then I truly beleive there was a need for unions. Children workin gin filthy conditions for long days for very little money just to start. I'm pretty sure we're all aware of the deplorable conditions people were forced to work in, a very bleak existence for sure. Steel workers had it great compared to the coal miners, UGH.

That was then, this is now, unions have become somewhat antiquated and out of dat Union leaders main goal is to keep the unions alive so they can exist themselves. Being from W Va I know many union people and they all have some kind of union bashing (for lack of better word) bashing tale. There is a need for some kind mechanism in place for fairness in the workplace but have no idea what the best solution would be. Absolutely don't want the Govt to try and do something, well no m more than what's existing anyway.

I dunno Andy, it's a pickle I tell ya, a real pickle.
