How could you possibly know that you've never had a virus?

Not all viruses are immediately apparent.

Maybe I should plug in that old computer and see if the virus is ready to activate after 34 years.

hey, is it an apple 1? does it still work? sell it!

Although since I logged on my AV is telling me that things are trying to get in. I have kaspersky and it is stopping everything for now.

I am not getting the message and I use AVG but I have ad block on my computer. LVA paid side originally said it was a google ad so maybe that's why I am not getting it?

No, it's an Apple ][. Same basic hardware, but preinstalled into a case. I also got the expanded memory (48K) along with a floppy drive (256K?). Later on a friend of mine spent something like $5,000 (in the early 80s) to buy one of the very first hard drives (10MB).

I keep getting this warning too with my Norton. McAfee sucks!

Wow,let's see here.Your having problems and I'm not but McAfee sucks?Go figure.
I used to use AVG but for reasons that I forget, I switched on Anvisoft plus using Ad Block. I'm not getting any warnings from the LVA home page.
Ditto for me. I'm using AVG. Every time I log onto LVA I get a warning.
ESET Antivirus caught it too, not going back to the homepage until the mods take care of this.

ha ha, my first computer was the apple 2c. looked like a typewriter. I picked up an old used TV to work with the computer.

Damn, see, I should have kept it, never know how much it will cost now. but then I would be more of a hoarder than ever before. Hey, maybe you should put your II on ebay and see if some nut will buy it for thousands, lol.

I laugh at your hard drives, I still have some 245mb hard drives hanging around. Yeah, I should download the data and shred them but I've been saying that for the past decade. I still have an old pc with those 5.25" floppy drives. Yeah, I should trash it but I use it to keep things off the floor, lol.

Strange that I haven't had any problems at work with the virus. We have symantec AV (is that norton previously?) at work and nothing pops up from here.

Let's see, I believe I've read here where Norton, AVG, ESET, Kapersky, Avast, and probably others have detected a virus or malware and your McAfee hasn't?
Hmmm? Maybe McAfee does suck. Just sayin'.
