Walking to the Pawn Stars Pawn Shop

Anyone done this ?

Just about how far and how long time wise would it be to walk to it from the El Cortez end of Fremont Street ?

TIA, Rick
Pawn Stars is about one block west and 7 blocks south from the El Cortez Hotel and Casino - "Las Vegas Like It Used To Be."

DonDiego'd estimate 3000-feet for the 7 blocks from the corner of Fremont and Las Vegas Boulevard. How long timewise would depend on Rock'n Rick's stamina and the length of his legs, . . . and to a lesser extent the size of his shoes.
Thanks DD.

Looks like I'll be making that mini-trek next trip.

FYI

Whoops.....fat finger syndrom on that last post, sorry

FYI,
If you are interested in seeing any other people that come in to evaluate stuff on the Pawn Stars show, the guy that estimates toys for Rick has his toy shop right on Fremont Street its just as you walk into the Big Guineess cup building on the left.He will gladly stop and talk with you.He has some really interesting old toys.
And if you actually make it to the Pawn Stars from the EL C, you are in good enough shape and might want to walk to the other end of Fremont, take a left on to main street and after a not too difficult walk (1 mile?) you can find Rick's restorations location. They give a great tour and sign autographs....and Kelly is worth the trip alone!
By the way..... I personally would put $20 on red (any roulette table) and use the winnings to take a taxi!

If you don't want to wait in line to get in the shop, go early in the morning. We went by there about two in the afternoon, and there was about 70 or 80 people waiting to get in. We went back the next day about nine or ten in the morning and walked right in. There was about 50 or 60 people inside the shop then.

Have a good time.

I forgot to pass along a little story about the trip to the shop. We walked from the bus terminal to the shop (or I shoud say I walked while I pushed by friend in his wheel chair). He had a soda in a 7-11 cup in his hand and as we walked pass the line to get in, two different groups of people got money out and were going to put it in his cup (we didn't take it). I guess they thought we were homeless. This also happpened to us a lot on the strip. Most of them thought he was a disabled vet.

We'll make it, ........ it sounds like only a 10 minute walk.

...... and thanks for the other tips. I just might check out that toy store too.
