Broads are gonna be offended by that.

Fixed. DonDiego thanks clcmim for the observation; he does not wish to offend.

I'm thinking your team name would be the Washington pansys...
Dude, it's 2014.

Please continue to merely quote forkushV exactly while adding nothing of your own.
You missed it. He added Bill Clinton after perjury. Chef doesn't know that lying under oath In a deposition is legal if the subject matter is immaterial to the case. Otherwise Ken Starr would have indicted (duh).
...lying under oath is perjury: Perjury, also known as forswearing, is the intentional act of swearing a false oath or of falsifying an affirmation to tell the truth, whether spoken or in writing, concerning matters material to an official proceeding.
Read your own words, genius: "concerning matters material to an official proceeding."

Do you have a clue what "material" means? Consensual sex with Monica was NOT material to a sexual harassment lawsuit. That's why after a $70 million investigation, Ken Starr didn't dare prosecute for perjury.

It was all about the meaning of IS is.

And who said on NATIONAL TV...

"I did not have sexual relations with that woman..."

I received this today and thought that it would be great motivation for those of you who complain about everything..............

I agree with our Native American population. I am highly insulted by
the racially charged name of the Washington Redskins. One might argue
that to name a professional football team after Native Americans would
exalt them as fine warriors, but nay, nay. We must be careful to
offend, and in the spirit of political correctness and courtesy, we
must move forward.
Let's ditch the Kansas City Chiefs, the Atlanta Braves and the
Cleveland Indians.
If your shorts are in a wad because of the reference the name Redskins
makes to skin color, then we need to get rid of the Cleveland Browns.
The Carolina Panthers obviously were named to keep the memory of
militant Blacks from the 60's alive. Gone. It's offensive to us white
folk.
The New York Yankees offend the Southern population. Do you see a team
named for the Confederacy? No! There is no room for any reference to
that tragic war that cost this country so many young men's lives.
I am also offended by the blatant references to the Catholic religion
among our sports team names. Totally inappropriate to have the New
Orleans Saints, the Los Angeles Angels or the San Diego Padres.
Then there are the team names that glorify criminals who raped and
pillaged. We are talking about the horrible Oakland Raiders, the
Minnesota Vikings, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Pittsburgh
Pirates!
Now, let us address those teams that clearly send the wrong message to
our children. The San Diego Chargers promote irresponsible fighting or
even spending habits. Wrong message to our children.
The New York Giants and the San Francisco Giants promote obesity, a
growing childhood epidemic. Wrong message to our children.
The Cincinnati Reds promote downers/barbiturates. Wrong message to our children.
The Milwaukee Brewers---well that goes without saying . . . Wrong
message to our children.
So, there you go. We need to support any legislation that comes out to
rectify this travesty, because the government will likely become
involved with this issue, as they should. Just the kind of thing the
do-nothing congress loves . . .
With all of this in mind, it might also make some sense to change the
name of the Oregon State women's athletic teams to something other
than "the Beavers."

I thought that only "stoners" and 15 years old boys used the term "dude". Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Wait a minute !

DonDiego thought they were the "Cunning Runts".

Oh, . . . never mind, . . . the "Cunning Runts" were the pygmy hunting party, the women's track team was something else altogether.
YEA!! There's a few local guys who actually have a pair and spoke up, good for them.

Virginia Now Has a Legislative Caucus Against Changing the Name of the Washington Football Team

"Del. Jackson Miller (R-Manassas), State Sen. Chap Petersen (D-Fairfax City), and Del. David Ramadan (R-Loudoun) are the three lawmakers behind the new group.

"The team has been battered in the media, politically, and everything else. I wanted people to know that there are some of us that are proud to be [Pigskins]," says Peterson (pictured), a longtime fan of the team who holds season tickets. "When the [trademark] decision came down, I felt like I was living in an alternative universe."

The dictionary defines the name of the Washington football team's name as a typically offensive term for Native Americans. Snyder has argued that the team name is actually used to honor the legacy of Native Americans and under no circumstances should be changed.

"You are assuming a fact that the team name is a racial slur. According to who? According to you?" Petersen says in an interview with City Desk this afternoon. "In the 18th or 19th century, it was not derogatory. It was used by Native Americans to differentiate themselves by their red skins... I agree that it's archaic, you wouldn't name a team that if it were named today, I get that."

*Kinda pisses me off the paper didn't hace the balls to say "Redskins" in the article. Buncha pansy-ass @*%%#*#'s
This is great! I also heard that the Indians have requested that Redskins are now ok, but would prefer that Washington be dropped from their name

from Hops2-
"This is great! I also heard that the Indians have requested that Redskins are now ok, but would prefer that Washington be dropped from their name"---- Can you blame them? A more fitting name would be the Washington Deadskins.
