Welcoming Spring with 2 feet of snow!

4 inches in NYC area on Monday, another storm this Monday. Coldest March here since 1960
I remember way back in the 60's, Fresca had a major advertising campaign introducing their new lemon-lime soda. Without showing the soda or anything else, the ad just said, "A BLIZZARD IS COMING MARCH 15TH!"

Sure enough on March 15th, we got 2 feet of snow back east. Probably one of the greatest advertising campaigns ever.
Well, Ya'll enjoy more snow that I hear is coming. I myself am boarding a sailing yacht for a little race from Newport Beach to sunny and warm Cabo San Lucas. About a 4 to 5 day race (depending on the wind) then a week in the surf and sun of Baja Sur. Then maybe Vegas if I can talk the wife into it.

The cape just had 9 inches of snow today. This is crazy.

Sounds like fun Cowboy.
Hey K,
I have a canundrum,
3 times I have been to Wells, ME
in the summer and having owned a
Snowmobile dealership in MN for 10
years, I have always asked, " Do you
get enough snow here to ride Snowmobiles
here in the winter " got 3 responses " yes
it snows here in the winter "

Pretty much explains why I live where I do.

Mainers talk a lot in their heads...those people were probably finishing their sentences in their heads..."yes it snows here in the winter (so we get lots of snowmobile opportunities from October through April!)".

The problem is they are easily distracted and don't always voice all of their thoughts out loud so you just have to improvise the rest for yourself. I'm actually from "away" but I've been here for more than 30 years now, and I still have trouble following their conversations sometimes . k
Time to go enjoy the warm spring air in LV
I never understood Groundhog Day. Each year when I lived in Jersey, that stupid Groundhog saw his shadow even though I lived nearbye and knew there was no way he could see his shadow. I mean there were days it was raining out and this dick head saw his shadow. Now I'm out in Calif. and this guy DOESN'T SHOW HIS SHADOW and it's supposed to be only 4 weeks left to winter. Sure enough...look at what the result is. They ought to shoot this groundhog! How many ground hogs have there been in the last 40 years?
