That was when I was playing at the Flair bar. Why didn't you stop by and say "hello"? I think that was just before I left on Monday!

It was Monday at the Mermaid bar. I'm sorry, I should have stopped. We were just there for a few minutes at Bass Pro and needed to make haste to the airport. Plus I didn't want you to write about Mrs AlanLeroy's gazongas. Next time, I'll hopefully have time for a drink or two!

Did Mrs. AlanLeroy know you took this picture?

She thinks it's just a pen.

and wondering if "is that a pen in your pock..." never mind, tired old cliche.

We've seen the size of the pen.

Well, I think when things settle down, that might be the case but I've got to get through to them first!

I recently called and tried booking a trip for this weekend. I l/m message on their landline ( host desk ) and the work cell phone and I emailed. I could not get anyone to respond back. I then thought, I'll just call the 800 to book my room. Unfortunately, I got Miss why are you bothering me and decided against booking ( at that moment I realized I had been spoiled ). Next day, I acutely tried again, but called the 702 number and got another unfriendly person. I finally gave up and made other arraignments/ plans. Both my kids booked earlier and got their rooms, but they both said what I did about the operators taking those reservations.

I will try again in a few months, when things settle down. They probably should be a mystery guest or caller in their own casino to shore-up things. I would say the same for a rated player, be a mystery rated player and see what you might expect and what you get in the treatment dept.

The Silverton is my favorite casino for a lot of little reasons and one not so little. They have been very good to me AND my family. I will not forget that. I think changes in staff reduction or cutting back is causing a little uneasiness amongst a lot of employees. If that is the case, they are not alone, my own company has done the same to survive the times.

Lastly, my host now being gone is a biggie. I really liked the guy. He knew me AND my family better than any other host in Nevada. He took the time to bond and build a relationship with me and my family. It is no wonder I fell in love with the place.

Thats right, that was the weiner index, right?

That' funny, I thought it was the Flair bar because of the color of the chairs. But looking at it again, I can see the pictures at the end of the bar near the aquarium. I did play there towards noon.
By the way, I haven't seen Vegas this busy in a long time. It was good to see that things are picking up. Maybe it's time to start investing in Vegas stocks again.
