What Do You Think Of Stations Oyster Bar?

I'm hearing a lot of good things about the different Stations Oyster Bars, especially Palace Station. Have you ever eaten there? Sounds like good grub!
I like Big AL's Oyster Bar at the Orleans casino which is always good!! Shrimp Cocktail and Louisiana Gumbo are great! You can read the reviews at Yelp below..

Big Al's Oyster Bar
We have eaten at the oyster bars at Palace Station, Sunset Station and GVR with them ranked in the same order. The wait time at Palace Station can be a serious problem so I would suggest going at an off-peak time and then still plan on a wait.

Palace Station's Oyster Bar is open 24/7

Limited seating is problematic

Bouillabaisse is delicous

1st of all, I think we need to qualify the people who answer this question so you get the best bang for your buck!
"I" am a full sized, New Englander and am kind of spoiled as to the kinds of seafood and the freshness I get to enjoy. Being so close to the gulf of Maine (20 min drive) I can either get most seafood myself or pay really good prices for fresh seafood should I chose to buy it. I can go to a fish cooperative and get it right off the boat if I don't actually know someone who makes a living catching whatever my cravings are that particular day.
I routinely make fun of or give bad reviews to seafood that I see in the mid-western states because most of the time it is awful and over priced, and most Midwesterners just don't know what the good stuff is!
So, that's my qualifications. That said, the oyster bar at the Orleans has a product that would do well even up here in New England. The price is slightly above what I would pay up here, but over all its still a good value and I frequent the oyster bar almost every trip......the damned smell draws me in when I walk by.
Highly recommended!

Palace Station has a great one but seating is limited and there's always a line. The one at Texas Station is easier to get served at but it's not quite as good IMO
I absolutely LOVE the clam chowder at Big Al's Oyster Bar at the Orleans.
I have only eaten at Big Al's once and maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but the shrimp pan roast did not compare favorably to any of the Station's oyster bars. Here are my October 2013 TR notes:

Though we have stayed several times at the Orleans this would be our first dining experience at Big Al's Oyster Bar. After reviewing the menu, we each ordered the shrimp pan roast with rice pilaf. Though the quantity of shrimp was generous, the amount of rice, served in the same bowl as the roasted lobster and tomato cream based sauce, was excessive. The sauce itself was a little too thick and the flavor muted in comparison to its counterparts at Sunset and Palace Stations.

"But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you.
They shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination." (Leviticus 11:10-11)
