Okay, let me clear this up for everyone.
1. LVA does not have anyone who moderates or monitors this forum in any real sense of the words. That's because they don't want to commit the resources that it would take to do so, and THEY HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO THAN READ EVERY POST HERE.
2. What LVA does do is react to complaints about political posts, and delete them based on their own standards and business needs. But no complaints equals no deletions. For example, their is currently a front page thread in which DonDiego claims that a ruling by the administration's labor department and excessive government regulations have inspired thugs to brutalize store clerks. Obviously his assertion is political (and silly!), but it survives and will survive unless someone complains. I certainly won't.
