Why do certain groups of young men get shot by the police?

First, it is a tragedy that anyone loses their life by being shot. However, I was curious as to why certain groups of young men keep getting shot?

Is it because certain races of young men generally speaking are defiant, uncooperative, non-compliant and wanting to challenge authority or provoke confrontation? Or is it because they did something wrong or might have something to hide? I for one would be compliant if an officer stops me and asks me questions. I wouldn't do anything to escalate the situation in fact I would do whatever it takes to deescalate the matter by being as cooperative as possible.

I can't say what occured during the incident that is currently making national news but speaking in general terms I think sometimes certain groups of young men make things worse by their actions. Whatever the reason it is unfortunate that anyone have to lose his life in the end.

I think the word you are looking for is "uppity."

I guess that kid wasn't showing enough respect, and didn't have his hands raised high enough in the air.
Apparently forkush was there to see what went down. I look forward to his in depth and all knowing and all seeing report as he fans the flames of controversy.

The cigars he had just stolen were weighing down his arms...if only he had not been commuting a crime minutes before.

He was stopped for jaywalking. And it's nice to hear from the Paula Deen fan club.
I forgot...you were there.

Nope. I wan't there for the OJ thing in Brentwood either, but you know. Fortunately, our eyes and ears on the ground are journalists.

Oh wait...the police arrested some reporters, and then they refused to disclose the officer's identities or badge numbers when they were released uncharged. Can't you just smell the freedom?
forkush- what I smell is just more of your inflammatory bull shit.
Over 100 police officers or almost 2 per week were killed in the line of duty last year.
Some cops overstep their bounds. Some punks get shot and deserve it. After viewing the video of this thug, he likely got what he deserved.

This punk is a perfect example of what happens to a group of people living under extra special coddling government policies for decades. First, we decided the American Indian needed all sorts of special policies and stuff, and we loved them so much that we have now created a huge group of Indians waiting for their next handout. Next, we decided that blacks needed extra special government coddling and now, like the Indian, we have created a huge group of blacks waiting for their next handout.

What's the solution? Some will argue that we just need to spend more for giveaway plans.
