Why haven't they done a new Vegas show?

All of those shows were made years and years ago, however (admit it) many of us still do watch them if/when they are aired

I would think that by now there is a whole new viewer base and tons of new material for ideas.

Someone should recognize this void, and get busy by creating new shows again

Rick
Anthony Curtis was in many of the shows. He said recently that it is a different person at the Travel Channel who makes the programming decisions and that this current program director isn't interested in Vegas.

Unfortunately he seems to be interested in eating, ghosts, and night at the museum.
Oh..I loved those shows too and still watch the re-runs!
If only there was a Vegas channel!!!!

There's also the chance that by the time they feature someplace, and when it goes to air,
that place may already be closed. I think some of these TV guru's just say why bother ?

funny you say that! Their was interest in a vegas only channel maybe about 8 years ago. I read about it and the problem was the enormous cost of a channel that focus' on one city. ( ask Oprah how much it cost to start a new channel)
They obviously had to get the casino companies to "buy in" and the casino operators chose not to do so. They do not really want "advantage BJ players" being educated on a channel that they are supporting.

You would think that people would support a "few" new shows on vegas. PJ kind of hit the ole nail on the head when he mentions much has already been covered on previous shows.

but so much has changed, ............ been added, been updated and been built since those shows of years ago.

Plus there's a whole new bunch of Vegas newcomers and newbies every year since those old shows,
............... and all with the excitement that we all once had after our first trip or two.

I thought of one, it could go along with resort fees and such, an expose' so to speak.

"The top ten ways ways Vegas is no longer the bargain it used to be:

Move on to 6/5 BJ and continue from there. What are some the ways everyone thinks is now no longer cheap or downright rip-off?

Exactly! If it was still a few years ago, when nothing was being built- I could see it. But this year in particular, there is a lot of new construction and new venues, even downtown at Fremont East, and things like the Linq. I'm very surprised they don't at least do - Top 10 New things to see in Vegas.
