WTF? Gas Prices Almost $4 a Gallon Here!

I don't know what caused this spike this time, but gas last week was $3.659 a gallon, and now it's up to almost $4 a gallon! What the heck is going on now?

When I was in Vegas 3 weeks ago, it was under $3 a gallon! What are they trying to prove now? This is getting out of hand!

I'd pay that - here - Toronto, Ontario, Canada it's the equivalent to yours of $5.00 gallon.


We are always getting hosed on the price of gas here in Canada compared to U.S.A.

In BC Canada we are paying $4.56 per gallon ($1.209 per litre)

In Southwest BC Canada (for those of us close to the border) I pay approximately $4.01 gallon when I buy across the border (which is actually my closest gas station!). Good savings compared to our home prices for us when each car uses about a tankful a week .

3.37 here in Dallas.

About $3.89 for regular here in Los Angeles.

Gone up about 30 cents here in SC last 2 weeks...up to $3.30 now.

Kroger has the cheapest around here. Got $2.93 yesterday. But it is climbing fast. Most places are at 3.35-39.

We always check gasbuddy.com for best price locally before heading out.

This is what's going on......... Hess is closing a refinery in N.J. this month.

That also means that gas prices here in Massachusetts are soon going to equal west coast prices.
